NEW BUSINESS

Chairman Ptak did mention that the Illinois Valley Food Pantry will be contacting the City Council shortly in regard to a donation to the Food Pantry. The Food Pantry is looking to relocate due to lack of space. Many discussed various properties that may be beneficial to the food pantry, but no decision was made as this would need to go through the IV Food Pantry Board. The Finance members did discuss potential financial assistance, including TIF incentives.

It was also mentioned that the city is currently in the works to finalize an RFP for the Old Public Works building. The city did note that the old Public Works building may not pass health standards for such an organization to move into there.

There were no questions or comments from the public.

Moved by Alderman Reynolds and seconded by Alderman Herndon to adjourn the meeting.

Voice vote, all ayes. Motion carried.

Chairman Ptak adjourned the meeting at 6:09 p.m.
