Bureau County taxpayers paid $262,779 in Special County Retailers Occupation Tax in August, according to Illinois tax records.

This figure marks a noticeable decrease from the previous month, where Special County Retailers Occupation Tax collection stood at $267,821.

Over the past 12 months, Bureau County's residents have collectively paid a total of $3.1 million in Special County Retailers Occupation Tax.
