In the 2022-23 school year, 32.5% of the students in Community Unit School District 2 passed the ELA portion of the Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR), according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Of the 277 students in Community Unit School District 2 who took the ELA portion of the test, approximately 90 (32.5%) passed.

The percentage of Community Unit School District 2 students who met or exceeded expectations on the IAR increased by 0.4% compared to the previous school year.

According to the 2024 Illinois Report Card, math proficiency among Illinois students in grades 3-8 remains below pre-pandemic levels, while reading performance has recovered. Meanwhile, 11th graders have experienced significant declines in both subjects, falling below pre-pandemic benchmarks.
