FOIA Request to Putnam County Il Clerk & Elections Division Regarding Upcoming Election Candidates on February 5, 2025. The Illinois Valley Times, a media organization committed to providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, has submitted a request under the Illinois Freedom of Information Act, 5 ILCS 140.
The request seeks an electronic format list of all candidates running in the upcoming election. The information requested includes each candidate's first, middle, and last name; the office they are running for; the jurisdiction of the office; and their party affiliation.
Additionally, the Illinois Valley Times has asked for all contact information for each candidate. This includes their address, phone number, and email address.
