Illinois Valley Community College will hold its 45th annual College Night from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 17, in the school’s gym, according to a press release.
More than 50 colleges and universities will be in attendance, including Central Michigan University, Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, Eureka College, Lindenwood University, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the University of Tampa.
“We’re really excited for College Night,” Quintin Overocker, director of admissions, records and transfer services, said in the release. “We have some new attending institutions this year and it’s always great seeing students make face-to-face connections with their future alma maters.”

The Dr. Mary Margaret Weeg Cultural Center will host a financial aid seminar at 5:30 p.m. High school and college students as well as their parents and community members are welcome to come and learn about the admissions process.
