Peru Elementary School District 124 issued the following announcement on May 24.
Congratulations to the Parkside Class of 2018! This year's class has 96 graduates who are ready to take the next step in their education at the high school level. The 8th Grade Graduation ceremony will be held at Parkside this evening at 7:00 p.m. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. and parking is limited so please car pool if you can. Parents will sponsor a dance for the graduates after the ceremony, and the dance will last until 11:00 p.m. in the cafeteria. Snacks and entertainment will be provided!
This ceremony culminates many years of education in Peru Elementary School District 124, and the Class of 2018 is ready for the next step. Congratulations to each of our graduates for their hard work and accomplishments so far. Best wishes in high school and beyond!
