Illinois State Rep. David Welter (R-Morris) voted in support of the so-called “Equal Rights Amendment,” helping to pass the measure 72-45.
He was of 10 House Republicans who voted Wednesday in favor of the resolution, which has been aggressively lobbied for by groups like Women's March Chicago.
