Sen. Sue Rezin (R-Morris) introduces special guests during the May 30 Senate floor debate
Sen. Sue Rezin (R-Morris) had some very personal guests with her during the May 30 Senate floor debate.
“Standing behind me is my father Ken Skipper and his wife Eileen,” Rezin said. “They decided to come down to Springfield today to see what it is what we actually do in the capital.”
Rezin also introduced some family friends, who were retired teachers from Prophetstown.
“Irv was a teacher and coach for almost 40 years, and Mary was a teacher for well over 20 years,” Rezin said.
Concluding, Rezin asked the Senate floor to welcome her family and friends, which her colleagues were proud to do with a warm Springfield welcome.
