OSF ST. ELIZABETH HOSPITAL: OSF HealthCare Saint Luke Medical Center Names Director Of Support Services

Osf St. Elizabeth Hospital issued the following announcement on June 11.

OSF HealthCare Saint Luke Medical Center has named Melissa Shipp, MBA of Toulon as Director of Support Services.

As Director of Support Services, Shipp will have responsibility for Quality and Safety, Cardiopulmonary Services, Imaging, Laboratory and Rehabilitation Services. Shipp will carry forward strategic initiatives for OSF Saint Luke allowing for alignment at critical access facilities and continue the evidence based care to drive clinical outcomes and Mission Partner engagement.

“This is an exciting time in healthcare where rapid change is coming from every direction. I am looking forward to the opportunity to lead innovative departments and continuing to offer excellent care for those we serve,” said Shipp.

Shipp has served as the Director of Quality at OSF Saint Luke for nine years and earned a Master’s in Business Administration from Governor’s State University and a Bachelor of Science from St. Ambrose University.

“Melissa has developed a culture of safety that has empowered our Mission Partners to ask questions, give input and be part of decisions that impact the care of those we serve,” stated Jackie Kernan, President at OSF Saint Luke.
