OSF ST. ELIZABETH HOSPITAL: Wynkoop New Vice President of Clinical Operations, Western Region, OSF HealthCare Medical Group

Osf St. Elizabeth Hospital issued the following announcement on June 29.

Rhonda Wynkoop, RN, has accepted the role of vice president of clinical operations, Western Region, OSF HealthCare Medical Group.

In this role, Rhonda will be accountable for executing the strategic areas of focus for OSF HealthCare by partnering with regional leaders and enhancing communication between regional and market-level physicians and Mission Partners. She will be responsible for ensuring alignment of goals and key initiatives and driving performance of quality, experience, access and financial outcomes for ambulatory operations across the Western Region.

Rhonda has served OSF HealthCare since 1998, serving in clinical and leadership roles. Her most recent role has been as the director of physician practices for OSF HealthCare Medical Group in the Western Region. Rhonda provided strategic planning for the region, working closely with regional leaders. Some strategic project implementations she was part of include care transformation, ACO initiatives, Epic ambulatory and new patient care service projects.

Rhonda received her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing in Downers Grove, Illinois.

Rhonda has four children, Carissa (Shane), Ashley (Jeremy), Cassie (Matt) and Lauren. She also has seven grandchildren. In her spare time, Rhonda enjoys spending time with her family, taking family vacations, enjoying summer activities, gardening, shopping and listening to music.
