Report: Which Illinois Valley communities saw the most fires in 2017?

Grand Ridge Fire District, South Wilmington Volunteer Fire Department and Magnolia Fire District reported responding to the most fire-related incidents per capita in Illinois Valley in 2017, according to the latest state report.

The annual summary of state fire incidents, published by the Illinois State Fire Marshal, records the number and type of fire-related incidents each fire protection district responded to in the calendar year. Fires are categorized as structure fires, vehicle fires or other fires.
