Report: Which Illinois Valley communities saw the most vehicle fires in 2017?

Grand Ridge Fire District, Utica Fire District and South Wilmington Volunteer Fire Department reported responding to the most vehicle fire incidents per capita in Illinois Valley in 2017, according to the latest state report.

The annual summary of state fire incidents, published by the Illinois State Fire Marshal, records the number and type of fire-related incidents each fire protection district responded to in the calendar year. Fires are categorized as structure fires, vehicle fires or other fires.
