Dimmick Community Cons School issued the following announcement on Aug. 14.

Forwarded Message from the LaSalle County Highway Department:

N. 35th Road in Dimmick Township will be closed for bridge repairs beginning Thursday, August 16, 2018. The bridge is located 1 1/2 miles East of IL Route 251 and the work is expected to take two weeks to complete. A detour will not be posted. Motorists are advised to use alternative routes around the construction site.
