Madigan’s contributions to Yednock came from the campaign funds he controls, including his own committee, Friends of Michael J. Madigan, the Illinois Democratic Party and the Democratic County Chairman’s Association of Illinois. In all, Madigan has contributed $299,407 to the candidate’s campaign.

From Sept. 6 to Sept. 30, Madigan spent $2.67 million backing campaigns for 31 candidates. He's spent more than $100,000 on 11 candidates and more than $40,000 on 19.
