Ottawa state House candidate Lance Yednock received another $190,546 from Illinois House Speaker and Democrat Party Chief Michael Madigan (D-Chicago) between Sept. 29 and Oct. 17, state filings show.

The Madigan funding was disclosed in reports filed with the Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE) by Friends of Lance Yednock, the campaign committee that supports Yednock’s race against Republican Jerry Lee Long  in the 76th District.

The district covers all or part of Putnam and LaSalle counties, including Ottawa and Streator.

Madigan’s contributions to Yednock came from the campaign funds he controls, including his own committee, Friends of Michael J. Madigan, the Illinois Democratic Party and the Democratic County Chairman’s Association of Illinois. In all, Madigan has contributed $485,043 to the candidate’s campaign.

From Sept. 29 to Oct. 17,  Madigan spent $4.37 million backing campaigns for 25 candidates.
