A Regular Meeting Of The Oglesby City Council Was Held On Monday, October 1, 2018, At City Hall. The Meeting Was Called To Order At 7:00 p.m.

Present: Commissioners Rivara, Porter, Argubright, Zborowski, Mayor Finley, Attorney Andreoni And City Clerk Mertes.

A Motion Was Made By Porter, Seconded By Rivara to approve the regular meeting minutes from September 17, 2018. Ayes: Porter, Rivara, Zborowski, Argubright, Finley.

The Mayor opened the floor to comments from the public on agenda items only. There were none.

A Motion Was Made By Porter, Seconded By Zborowski to Approve Ordinance 1036-100118, Ordinance adopting Land Code Development. Ayes: Porter, Rivara, Zborowski, Argubright, Finley.

A Motion Was Made By Zborowski, Seconded By Rivara to Approve the bid from Advanced Asphalt for $125,039.44 for the MFT project. Ayes: Porter, Rivara, Zborowski, Argubright, Finley.

A Motion Was Made By Porter, Seconded By Argubright to Approve Ordinance 1037-100118, Providing for and Approving the Sixth Amendment to the Oglesby TIF District I Redevelopment Project Area, Plan, and Projects. Ayes: Porter, Rivara, Zborowski, Argubright, Finley.

Commissioner Porter introduced the newly hired police officer, Officer Jonathon Klinefelter, and administered the Oath of Office.

A Motion Was Made By Porter, Seconded By Argubright to open an account at Illini State Bank for 50/50 raffle online sales. Ayes: Porter, Rivara, Zborowski, Argubright, Finley.

A Motion Was Made By Zborowski, Seconded By Porter to place on file Ordinance 1038-101518, Adopting the Zoning Map for the Land Development Code of Oglesby, IL. Ayes: Porter, Rivara, Zborowski, Argubright, Finley.

A Motion Was Made By Porter, Seconded By Zborowski to approve the Request from Oglesby Public Schools to block a section of road near Lincoln Schools on October 31st from 1:00-2:30 pm for their Halloween parade. Ayes: Porter, Rivara, Zborowski, Argubright, Finley.

The Mayor asked for comments from the public. There were none

Commissioners and Mayor’s Report:

Rivara- Commissioner Rivara said that Joel Hopkins will be at our next meeting to present our audit results. He also said that he has had a few inquiries about Ifiber from commercial customers. He said he talked with people at North Central and they said if a commercial customer is interested they could contact North Central. Rivara also thanked Jim Clinard for attending the recent Solar Meeting.

Argubright- None

Zborowski- None

Porter- Commissioner Porter announced that Trick or Treat hours will be from 5:30-7:30 on October 31st

Mayor Finley- None

A Motion To Adjourn Was Made At 7:15 pm By Porter, Seconded By Argubright. Ayes: Porter, Rivara, Zborowski, Argubright, Finley.
