State Senator race: Republican Stewart wins voter tally in LaSalle County

Brian W. Stewart led Democrat David Simpson in votes cast in LaSalle County for the race, according to the latest vote count.

Stewart appeared to outpace Simpson by a margin of 27.8 percent on Tuesday in the county.
