City of Ottawa issued the following announcement on Nov. 21.
The 2018 City of Ottawa annual Festival of Lights Parade is scheduled for Friday, November 23, 2018 beginning at 6 p.m.
The parade will begin at the south end of LaSalle Street and proceed north to Washington Square Park.
The units will turn east onto West Jackson Street. Entertainment by the Friendly City Sound and the lighting of the park will follow.
PLEASE NOTE:
On Friday, prior to the parade “no parking” signs will be posted on the following streets:
*Jackson Street between LaSalle Street and Columbus Street: no parking in that block after 3 p.m.
*900 block of Columbus Street, west side of street: no parking in that block after 4 p.m.
*700, 800, 900 blocks of LaSalle Street: no parking in these blocks after 4 p.m.
