Q2 real estate sales report: Marseilles

Median prices declined in Marseilles over last year, and are down 56.4 percent over 10 years, adjusted for inflation, according to second quarter sales data collected by BlockShopper.com.

From April to June, 27 homes sold in Marseilles for a median price of $53,350. That's 52.3 percent lower than median home sale prices for the second quarter of 2017.

In the second quarter, there were no foreclosures in Marseilles.

Median property tax for homeowners in Marseilles was $3,280 in 2017 according to tax data from that year. That means homeowners pay 2.9 percent of their home's value in taxes.
