Report: Minooka spent $12,715 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Minooka Community High School District 111 is down 4.3 percent from five years ago, according to a Illinois Valley Times analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Grundy County school district spent $13,286 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $12,715 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 2575 to 2746.

Minooka's spending in 2017-18 was 4.7 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
