Report: La Moille spent $17,546 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at La Moille Community Unit School District 303 is up 66.1 percent from five years ago, according to a Illinois Valley Times analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Bureau County school district spent $10,563 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $17,546 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 269 to 226.

La Moille's spending in 2017-18 was 31.6 percent higher than the state average of $13,337.
