Report: La Salle spent $10,231 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at La Salle Elementary School District 122 is up 11.3 percent from five years ago, according to a Illinois Valley Times analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the La Salle County school district spent $9,192 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $10,231 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 932 to 927.

La Salle's spending in 2017-18 was 23.3 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
