Report: Wallace spent $12,354 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Wallace Community Consolidated School District 195 is up 0.1 percent from five years ago, according to a Illinois Valley Times analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the La Salle County school district spent $12,337 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $12,354 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 327 to 343.

Wallace's spending in 2017-18 was 7.4 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
