Analysis: Minooka administrators rank 341st in state for average pay

Administrators in Minooka Community High School District 111 earn an average of $103,640 per year, ranking 341st out of 864 districts in the state, according to a Illinois Valley Times analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card.

The 2018 average is 0.8% lower than in 2014 and 11.3% lower than in 2009. District administrators make 3.4% less than the state average of $107,279.

Administrator salaries depend on the district's size, location and resources, as well as the individual's level of experience and education, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

The Grundy County school district enrolled 2746 students in 2017-18. There is an average of 153 students for every administrator, compared to a statewide ratio of 181 to 1.
