Dayton home prices rise in the first quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2018 in Dayton rose by $140,500 while total sales remained unchanged with two homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2018, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $409,500 - a 52.2% increase over the $269,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Dayton in the first quarter of 2017, as well.

The median sales tax in Dayton for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,663.60, approximately 0.9% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2018.
