Peru home prices rise in the third quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2018 in Peru rose by $7,800 while total sales increased by 100%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2018, there were 48 homes sold, with a median sale price of $107,500 - a 7.8% increase over the $99,700 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 24 homes sold in Peru in the third quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Peru for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,142.80, approximately 2% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2018.
