Hennepin home prices fall in 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in 2017 in Hennepin fell by $22,000 while total sales increased by 57.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2017, there were 11 homes sold, with a median sale price of $85,000 - a 20.6% decrease over the $107,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were seven homes sold in Hennepin in 2016.

The median sales tax in Hennepin for 2017 was $2,086. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,946. This marks an increase of 7.2%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.5%.
