Lake Holiday home prices rise in 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in 2017 in Lake Holiday rose by $5,450 while total sales increased by 18.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2017, there were 96 homes sold, with a median sale price of $184,450 - a 3% increase over the $179,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were 81 homes sold in Lake Holiday in 2016.

The median sales tax in Lake Holiday for 2017 was $4,493. In 2016, the median sales tax was $4,453. This marks an increase of 0.9%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.4%.
