Earlville home prices rise in 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in 2017 in Earlville rose by $4,500 while total sales decreased by 41.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2017, there were 20 homes sold, with a median sale price of $126,500 - a 3.7% increase over the $122,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were 34 homes sold in Earlville in 2016.

The median sales tax in Earlville for 2017 was $2,746. In 2016, the median sales tax was $2,563. This marks an increase of 7.1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.2%.
