Minooka (Grundy County) home prices fall in September 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2017 in Minooka in Grundy County fell by $16,000 while total sales increased by 30.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2017, there were 17 homes sold, with a median sale price of $169,000 - a 8.6% decrease over the $185,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 13 homes sold in Minooka in September 2016.

The median sales tax in Minooka for 2017 was $4,793. In 2016, the median sales tax was $4,560. This marks an increase of 5.1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.8%.
