Morris home prices rise in October 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2017 in Morris rose by $4,650 while total sales increased by 13.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2017, there were 25 homes sold, with a median sale price of $175,400 - a 2.7% increase over the $170,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 22 homes sold in Morris in October 2016.

The median sales tax in Morris for 2017 was $3,764. In 2016, the median sales tax was $3,724. This marks an increase of 1.1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.1%.
