Sheridan home prices rise in June 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in June 2017 in Sheridan rose by $51,125 while total sales increased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In June 2017, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $230,000 - a 28.6% increase over the $178,875 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Sheridan in June 2016.

The median sales tax in Sheridan for 2017 was $3,375. In 2016, the median sales tax was $3,315. This marks an increase of 1.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.5%.
