City of Ottawa issued the following announcement on July 23.
Weather permitting, City of Ottawa public works crews will be trimming trees on the south side along Allen Park on Route 71/Hitt Street on Tuesday, July 23 and Wednesday, July 24, 2019. Trimming work will also include the Spring Street/Guthrie Street Hill.
Drivers needing to travel in those areas during the trimming are asked to use extreme caution and watch for signage, workers and equipment. There may be possible lane or temporary street closures while the work is in progress.
