City of Ottawa issued the following announcement on Sept. 14.
The Board of Fire and Police Commissioners is accepting applications to establish a Firefighter Eligibility Register.
Application packets may be picked up at the Ottawa City Hall at 301 W. Madison Street, Ottawa, Illinois or can be downloaded online at http://www.cityofottawa.org.
Completed application packets must be returned no later than 4:30 p.m. on October 16, 2019.
