Foodbox

Princeton Chamber Of Commerce issued the following announcement on June 26.

Saturday, June 27 Beginning at 9:30am (While Supplies Last)

NOVO NORDISK PARKING LOT: 800 Scudders Mill Road, Plainsboro, NJ 08536

To continue its commitment to providing food to those in need, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, MCFOODS (Middlesex County Food Organization and Outreach Distribution Services), in conjunction with the Community FoodBank of New Jersey (CFBNJ) and with contributions from Novo Nordisk, are hosting the County’s first drive-up food distribution event.

The event, which will follow CDC and State guidelines for social distancing, will allow residents to drive-up through the distribution line to collect a box of fresh and packaged food, all while remaining contact-free. Those receiving food will be required to show proof of New

Jersey residency (including a driver’s license or state issued ID and utility bill) and to clean out the trunk of the car before arriving. We will distribute boxes of fresh produce and shelf stable food to the first 1,500 cars on a first-come-first-served basis, one allocation per car.

Available to Middlesex County residents on a first come, first served basis. One allocation per vehicle, while supplies last.

REQUIREMENTS:

Please clean out your trunk prior to arriving

Must bring proof of NJ residency (ID Card, Drivers’ License, Utility Bill with Name and NJ Address)
