City of Princeton issued the following announcement on Aug. 14.
The City of Princeton seeks bids for a 3-year lease of available grain storage on city property located at the Princeton Logistics site, just south and west of the intersection of Red Covered Bridge Road and Warnecke Woods Road in Princeton. The storage consists of two bins, each having a capacity of 16,000 bushels, or 32,000 bushels total. City seeks bids for Year 1, Year 2, and Year 3 utilization of entire capacity of 32,000 bu. The lease year will run from September 1 to August 30. The overall 3-year lease shall commence on September 1, 2020 and terminate on August 30, 2023. Lease payments for the year will be due on September 1, at the commencement of each lease year. Lessee is responsible for electricity and/or fuel for the site. Successful bidder will commit to a signed lease agreement.
Sealed bids must be submitted to the City of Princeton on or before 10:00 am on Friday, August 21, 2020. Bids received after 10:00 am on Friday, August 21, 2020, will not be accepted. No emailed or faxed bids will be accepted. Sealed bids must be marked on the outside of the envelope as “Grain Storage Bid”. Bids must be submitted by mail or in person to:
