Seneca Fire District responded to 68 calls in 2018 - 28.3 percent more than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Seneca included 46 fires - 17 structure fires, 11 vehicle fires and 18 other fires.

In all, the department saw $577,610 in fire loss - or about $12,557 per fire.

The department also received 22 false calls.

The Seneca Fire District had an annual budget of $743,522 in 2018.
