Democratic Incumbent Lance Yednock has won his reelection bid for District 76 House seat defeating Republican challenger Travis Breeden.
Yednock took to his Facebook page to express gratitude for his supporters..
“I want to thank the working families across the Illinois Valley for granting me another term as your State Representative,” he wrote. “I'm ready to get back down to Springfield & work across the aisle for good-paying local jobs, more affordable healthcare, & the resources we need to navigate this pandemic - particularly for our small businesses & unemployed workers.”
Yednock also thanked his team for their hard work.
“I'm grateful for all of the work & support from my staff, my volunteers, & my wife Deana,” he wrote.
