Report: Ohio School District spent $41,115 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Ohio Community High School District 505 was up 37.6 percent from five years ago, according to the Illinois Valley Times analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Bureau County school district spent $29,882 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $41,115 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 34 to 35 students over the same period.

Ohio's spending in 2019-20 was 183.7 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
