Report: La Moille School District spent $17,568 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at La Moille Community Unit School District 303 was up 19.2 percent from five years ago, according to the Illinois Valley Times analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Bureau County school district spent $14,734 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $17,568 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 254 to 211 students over the same period.

La Moille's spending in 2019-20 was 21.2 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
