Mr. Stabler presented the Tentative 2021 Levy. Across Bureau, Whiteside and Lee counties, the district’s EAV has increased approximately 4%. A Truth in Taxation hearing will be required due to this EAV increase. The actual tax rate, however, will drop by approximately $.08. This is one of the larger drops in Bureau Valley history. Even with this the drop in tax rate, the increased EAV will provide the district with enough funds to operate.
