City of LaSalle Finance Committee met April 4.

Pro-Tem Chairman Lavieri called the Meeting to order at 6:03 p.m.
ROLL CALL
Present: Pro–Tem Chairman Lavieri, Aldermen Demes, Jeppson, Herndon
Excused Absence: Chairman Ptak
Others Present: Deputy Clerk Brent Bader, Superintendent of Public Works Patrick Watson, Economic Development Director Leah Inman, Alderman Reynolds, Alderman Bacidore, Finance Director John Duncan, Fire Chief Jerry Janick, Treasurer Virginia Kochanowski, City Attorney James McPhedran.
A quorum was present.
Moved by Alderman Demes and seconded by Alderman Jeppson to approve and place on file the minutes of the Finance Committee for March 21, 2022. Each and every alderman has a copy.
Voice vote, all ayes. Motion carried.
Moved by Alderman Demes and seconded by Alderman Herndon to approve the request from Brandee Bell for a Redevelopment Incentive Program grant totaling $12,500 for premises located at 1157 First Street. This grant will be for the next fiscal year. Each and every alderman has a copy.

Mayor mentioned how the sign by 178 and the four corners has been down for some time. There are five locations for the city entry signs. Four of the signs are in TIF. There will be two on Rt. 6, one by cemetery and I-39 and the other by 178 where La Salle starts. Their other signs will be one by Brady's, one south before the canal (only one not on TIF), and the last one on Raccuglia, back into LaSalle under Rt. 80 bridge. The cost for all five signs will be $19,661.00.
Moved by Alderman Reynolds and seconded by Alderman Herndon to approve the recommendation regarding proposals for City entry signs.
