In a Nov. 20 Facebook post, Sen. Sue Rezin (R-Morris) announced a new title.
“I was honored to be named the incoming president of the National Foundation for Women Legislators (NFWL),” Rezin posted. “Thanks to all of my colleagues and I look forward to working with elected women across the country.”
The National Foundation for Women Legislators' annual conference was held Nov. 14-16 in Charleston, S.C.
At the end of June, Rezin participated in another NWFL event. Rezin attended the 2022 Health Summit to introduce a panel. “As an executive board member of the NFWL, I participated in the 2022 Health Summit in Washington, D.C.,” she wrote on Facebook.
Rezin joined the Illinois General Assembly in December 2010, following an appointment. Her current committee assignments include: Education (Minority Spokesperson); Energy and Public Utilities (Minority Spokesperson); Human Rights (Minority Spokesperson); Executive; Health; Insurance; Subcommittee on Public Health; Subcommittee on Special Issues (H); Redistricting- Kane & Kendall; Redistricting- Kankakee & Will (Sub-Minority Spokesperson); Executive-Consolidation; Executive- Government Operations; Sub on Next Generation Nuclear.
