Here are the minutes provided by the board:

Village President, Ric Offerman, called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. Trustees present: Gabriela Martinez, Barry Thompson, Dennis Martin, Terry Houchens, Dick Parrish and Robin White. Also present: Dan Duffy-Village Administrator, John Harrington-Village Treasurer, Ryan Anderson-Superintendent of Public Works, Village Engineer-Sean Kelly, Village Attorney Chris Spesia, Village Engineer- Kevin Danko, Chief Justin Meyer, and Village Clerk-Orsola Evola. 

Public Forum- No one was present.

Changes to Agenda-None.

Review of the Village Board meeting minutes on December 20, 2022 

Trustee Houchens moved, Trustee Parrish seconded the motion to approve the December 20, 2022 Village Board Minutes.

Ayes: Houchens, Thompson, Parrish, Martinez, Martin, White

Nays: None

Absent: None

Motion carried.

Bills and Transfers 

Trustee Martin moved, Trustee White seconded the motion to approve Bills and Transfers as presented.

Treasurer’s Report 

Trustee Martin moved, Trustee White seconded the motion to approve the Treasurers Report as presented.

Trustee Thompson moved, Trustee Parrish seconded the motion to approve Resolution 2023R-3447 awarding contract to Homer Tree care

Resolution approving rate increase of 4.7% to $175.90 per intersection per month to renew the Traffic Signal Maintenance 

Trustee Thompson moved, Trustee Parrish seconded the motion to approve Resolution 2023R-3448 approving rate increase of 4.7% to $175.90 per intersection per month to renew the Traffic Signal Maintenance

Trustee Martin moved, Trustee Martinez seconded the motion to approve Ordinance 23-1 abating taxes levied from Year 2022 to Pay Debt Services on Series 2012 General Obligation Bonds Trustee Martin moved, Trustee White seconded the motion to approve the Treasurers Report as presented.

Trustee Martinez moved, Trustee White seconded the motion to approve Ordinance 23-2 abating taxes levied from Year 2022 to Pay Debt services on Series 2015 General Obligation Bonds Trustee Martin moved, Trustee White seconded the motion to approve the Treasurers Report as presented.

Executive Session- President Offerman mentioned there was a need to enter into executive session. Trustee Thompson moved, Trustee White seconded the motion to enter into executive session at 6:42 p.m.

Return to regular session 

Trustee Houchens moved, Trustee White seconded the motion to return into regular session at 6:54 p.m.

Action from Executive Session-none

As Appropriate- Administrator Duffy mentioned they will be posting the Building Inspector job internally first next week. He would also like to revisit the description/ordinance prior.
