John F. Kennedy Elementary School had the highest enrollment among Bureau County schools, welcoming 616 students during the 2021-22 school year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

Out of all the students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 50.5% of them were boys, and 49.5% were girls.

Data also showed that most of the students were white, representing 58.8% of the student body at John F. Kennedy Elementary School.

Among the 21 schools in Bureau County, Princeton High School ranked second in enrollment with 499 students, while Logan Junior High School welcomed 427 students to be ranked third in the 2021-22 school year.

John F. Kennedy Elementary School is a part of Spring Valley Community Consolidated School District 99, which generally encompasses schools within Bureau County with its main office in Spring Valley.

In the previous school year, John F. Kennedy Elementary School had the highest number of students among Bureau County schools.
