There were 670 white students enrolled in Putnam County school districts in the 2021-22 school year, 0.3% more than the previous year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

Data showed that white students made up 86% of the 779 students in Putnam County during the 2021-22 school year. They were the most represented ethnicity.

Putnam County Community Unit School District 535 was the only district in the county which enrolled white students, welcoming 670 students in the 2021-22 school year.
