Illinois State Senator Sue Rezin (R-Peru) temporarily moved her office to the Plano Community Library on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

"Attention Plano Friends!!! The office of State Senator Sue Rezin will be at the Plano Community Library from 11-2 Tomorrow, Tuesday, August 16th! Make sure to stop by and visit!" Rezin said in a Facebook post Monday.

The move is the latest from Rezin as she continues to get involved her community this summer. In late June, she spoke at and promoted the 19th annual Illinois Motorcycle Freedom Run, an event honoring soldiers who have lost their lives in Middle East conflicts, as well as their families.

"It was an honor to speak at the 19TH ANNUAL ILLINOIS MOTORCYCLE FREEDOM RUN ceremony for the Middle East Conflicts Wall Memorial in Marseilles," Rezin said in a Facebook post on June 20. "This is a special ceremony to recognize the Gold Star families and their loved ones that lost their life defending our country."

Rezin made another Facebook post on July 28 calling for undergraduate students to apply to an internship with her offices.

"State Senator Sue Rezin is seeking motivated and hard-working undergraduate students for her district offices in Morris & Peru, Illinois," the advertisement read. "This internship will provide hands-on experience to undergraduate students interested in careers in government, public affairs and related fields."

On August 10, Rezin made another Facebook post advertising the construction of a mobile DMV unit hosted by her on August 30.

"Friends in the Sheridan area, @State Senator Sue Rezin will be hosting a mobile DMV unit on Tuesday, August 30th, from 10 AM-2 PM!" the post read.

The DMV unit will be established at the Robert Rowe Public Library, and it will provide driver's licenses, state ID cards, motor vehicle registrations, license plate renewal stickers and organ and tissue donor registrations. However, the unit will not be providing Real ID's, and seniors 75 and older must renew their driver's licenses at an SOS driver's services facility.
